Welcome to the University Library of Salzburg

The University Library of Salzburg consists of a Main Library as well as special libraries at the University departments and faculties. At all locations, our library offers comprehensive service and supplies scholars, scientists, students, employees, pupils and the interested public with books, journals and electronic resources.

Independent of their location, all of the 2.4 million print media and numerous electronic media are searchable via the Online Catalogue. The University Library of Salzburg is accessible to everyone, and its services are free of charge.

The Main Library, situated in the city centre, is a storage library providing media on numerous subjects, while the special libraries at the University departments and faculties are open access libraries with a wide range of specialist literature.
