Graduation and Doctoral Thesis Celebration on 27 November, 2019
On Wednesday, the 27th of November, 2019, the University of Salzburg warmly congratulated 56 graduates who celebrated their graduations and/or completions of doctoral theses.
Advent Calendar of the University Library Salzburg
Once again, the Universitätsbibliothek Salzburg will be opening the Advent 24 Windows in the Hofstallgasse and in the online Advent calendar. Texts and images may "brighten your inspiration" in time for Christmas.
10 December: Conference "Intact Environment - a Human Right?"
The conference is organized by the Austrian Institute of Human Rights and takes place in the Edmundsburg am Mönchsberg, Europasaal, 16:00-19:00. Admission is free! Registration required under menschenrechte@sbg.ac.at.
The physician and psychologist Hendrik Lehnert was solemnly introduced to his position as Rector of the Paris Lodron University Salzburg on FR 22.11.19. The new rector will be assisted by materials chemist, Nicola Hüsing; innovation expert, Katja Hutter; financial expert, Barbara Romauer; and sociologist, Martin Weichbold. 12 December: 4th Film Series "Filmclub Horizonte Slawistyka, Slavistika, Cлавистика"
The Department of Slavonic Studies, together with the cultural center DAS KINO, would like to cordially invite you for the fourth part of the successful cinema series of the East and Central European films. The film club "Slawistyka, Slavistika, Cławistika" presents award-winning current Polish, Russian and Czech films with social and political themes.
