What will I learn?
The BA degree course in Language – Economy – Culture combines economical, foreign-language and intercultural competences. Students can choose between a Romance (French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish) or a Slavonic language (Polish, Russian, Czech) and acquire language skills as well as practical skills from the disciplines of cultural studies and business administration. By deliberately uniting core competences from the humanities and economics, and due to a distinct orientation towards practical application and an international approach, students are provided with an ideal basis for both a direct entry into the working world and for a further academic education. The comprehensive interdisciplinarity and an emphasis on practical experience make this course a unique possibility to combine the qualities of linguistics, literary and cultural studies with the skills of business administration and economics.

The interdisciplinary competences imparted in the BA degree course in Language – Economy – Culture and the individual possibilities of specialization make graduates attractive for a broad range of public and private institutions.
