Temporary Accommodation

Occasionally, you may need to stay at a hotel or youth hostel before you move into your permanent residence abroad. Contacting a resource, such as an acquaintance at the exchange university, is also a good idea and might prove useful in your search for a place to live.

Final Accommodations

Students studying through Exchange programmes must follow the rules and regulations for seeking accommodation at the guest university. There is a wide range of possible living arrangements available while you are abroad. One might prefer living in a student dormitory, or perhaps share the rent for an apartment or house. Lists of rentals are available, as well as the classified. There is the possibility that you will receive no assistance with finding a place to live, therefore, you will have to find accommodations on your own. Many universities have an external organisation that you may rent from.

Please Note: In most cases you must apply separately for living accommodations.
