Students seeking a Degree from the University of Salzburg

International students who would like to join a degree program at the University of Salzburg will find a summary of the  necessary information here. Please keep in mind that in order to pursue a degree at the University of Salzburg, you will need to have an adequate command of the German language. For detailed information, please refer to the website of the Students Service Centre. Please be aware that some homepages are not yet available in English. Our colleagues at the Student Service Centre, Fabiola Fliegel and Alexander Jaehrig, are happy to give additional advice.

PLUSonline Student Service Platform

As of the 2007/08 academic year, the University initiated a new online platform intended to make tasks such as enrolment in classes, obtaining information about courses etc., easier and more convenient for students. This platform is called PLUSonline. Access the PLUSonline user manual for information about ease-of-use and other features.

Information for Students with Special Needs

Students with special needs at the University ofSalzburg should contact the office for disability &diversity. The ÖH also has an office for social affairs where students with disabilities can get help.

    The paper "The disabling effect of social policies on organizational career management" by Astrid Reichel (Professor for Human Resource Management at PLUS) et al. was awarded the Emerald Best International Symposium Award at the 2019 Academy of Management Meeting, which is the largest and most important management conference in the world, with over 10,000 participants.
    From 5 to 22 November, 2019, Südwind, in cooperation with the University of Salzburg, invites experts to the join in the topic of global inequalities and offers a diverse program: 13 events of the series "REDUCE INEQUALITIES think globally - act sustainably" from different perspectives with global issues and their interaction with the local and individual levels.
    The annual interdisciplinary Fachtagung des Wissensnetzwerks Recht, Wirtschaft und Arbeitswelt will take place on Thursday, 21 November, 2019, on the topic, "Work Anytime and Anywhere... Mobile Work and its Consequences" at the Edmundsburg.
    As part of the lecture series, Geschichte im Gespräch, and the lecture "Fundamentals of Medieval History (Christina Antenhofer)", Thorsten Hiltmann (Münster) will give a lecture on 26 November, 2019, at 09: 00h in HS 380 on Medieval Heraldry between Cultural History and New Digital Methods.

    The Department of Slavonic Studies would like to cordially invite you, together with the cultural center DAS KINO, to the fourth part of our successful cinema series of East and Central European films.     On 29 November, 2019, the conference, "Responsibility of Digitized Companies", will take place at the University of Salzburg. The focus is on the ethical and legal implications of the use of artificial intelligence.
