COVID-19 Update (4.12.2020):
Distance Learning continues after Christmas Holidays
The restriction of classroom teaching has been extended for the duration of the whole winter semester, due to the development of the Corona situation.
This means that all courses that have been taught in a classroom until 19 October 2020, will continue in distance learning.
Exceptions:
- Laboratory and practical sports exercises can take place in coordination with course leaders
- Work on Master and Bachelor theses will continue as normal
- Library: Reading halls and media loaning services will remain open until further notice
- Most of the International Office staff members continue working from home.
- The International Relations Department will stay closed.
- Coming in is possible only in very urgent cases and by prior appointment with your programme coordinator!
- Join our online consultation hours online via WEBEX Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 - 11 am (no meetings offered on 8 December and from 24.12. - 06.01.2021).

The number of international students coming to study at the University of Salzburg has increased over the past several years. Approximately 30 percent of all students studying at the university are foreign nationals. They either attend regular courses within the framework of an exchange program, or they are full-time, degree seeking students.
