Magic Garden

On Saturday, 22 September, 2018, at 11:00, the Botanical Garden will be displaying the images of the artist, Karin Wimmeder. Only in fair weather. Alternative date: Saturday, 29 September, 2018, 11:00. Musically accompanied by the rhythm group "Schlagartig.org".

Diese Reihe von Bildern ist im Botanischen Garten der Universität Salzburg entstanden. Die Aquarelle, Tuscheskizzen und Fotos, in einer Collagetechnik am Computer zusammengestellt, fangen die besondere Ausstrahlung dieses Ortes ein. Karin Wimmeder betätigt sich auf unterschiedlichen Gebieten der Kunst, wie Land-Art, Geomantie, Wandmalerei, und dreidimensionalen Objekten. Eine Reihe dieser Arbeiten befinden sich im öffentlichen Raum. Die in Salzburg lebende Künstlerin freut sich, wenn auch Sie sich von ihren Bildern verzaubern lassen. Musikalisch untermalt von der Rhytmusgruppe Schlagartig.org. Mit knackigen Grooves und energiegeladenen Beats im Ohr können Sie den Tag im Botanischen Garten geniessen.

    Which students in Austria donate the most blood? That was the challenge of the "Vampire Cup" of the Austrian Red Cross. Universities and technical colleges from Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland, Styria, Upper Austria, Salzburg and Tyrol took part in the competition - the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Salzburg could now take the trophy home.
    Together with 400 alumni, Rector Heinrich Schmidinger, the future rector Hendrik Lehnert, the four deans and the senate chairman spent a summer evening on the "most beautiful terrace in Salzburg" in the restaurant M32 am Mönchsberg.

    The 7th Salzburg Summer School will take place the 2nd and 3rd of September, 2019. A comprehensive pedagogical summer education program is offered for teachers and student teachers of all types of schools and subjects. Registrations are possible.
